Whole Food Plant-Based
4-day Challenge

You are invited to participate in a 4-day WFPB Challenge: from Wednesday March 16th to Saturday March 19th, 2022.

WFPB - Whole Food, Plant-Based, what does that mean?

➡️ Food that has not been processed or that is minimally processed. Think about food as you would find it in nature. 

✅ Plant-Based Food : fruits, vegetables, whole grains, beans, legumes, nuts and seeds. 

✅ Minimally processed: Whole grain bread and crackers with no oil or sugar, unsweet plant milks.

❌ NO TO : highly processed food: cookies, pastries, white flour products, prepared frozen meals, chips, sauces, dressings, soft drinks, ... 

❌ Minimal consumption of meat, fish, eggs, dairy

🥬 I encourage you to try 4 days without any animal products, but if you decide to still eat some, stay away for processed meat and dairy (sausage, deli meat, sweetened yogurt) 

Even better if you eat local food! 

 

GOALS:

- Shake your habits! 

- Eat a variety of whole, plant-based food during the 4 days of the challenge. 

- Realize how much processed food you eat each day and find healthy replacements. 

- Eat food that give you lots of nutrients. If you keep doing it, overtime, you will get more energy, more mental clarity and you will start becoming healthier.

- Experience how your body feels with that type of food.

- Prove to yourself that you are totally capable of making some changes in your eating habits when you want to, with the right amount of support. 



🌞 Each day, you will get meal and snack ideas, practical tips to substitute processed and animal foods as well as support in the Facebook group. 

🌞 The challenge starts on Wednesday March 16th. Use the previous weekend (March 12-13) to plan and buy the food you will need. There will be a Zoom meeting on Monday March the 14th to answer your questions. You'll find the Zoom time and address in the private Facebook Group or in your email if you sign up below.

🌞Participate as much as you want: one, day, two days, or the whole four days. Make 10% changes or a full 100%. No judgement! We are all at different starting points in our eating habits. Every little change towards more health is a reason to celebrate!
